“Building the Bridge between HR Practices and Business Strategy”

In today’s lean economy, HR is being held more accountable for delivering initiatives that are aligned with business strategy and result in business growth. Recognizing that your people are your competitive advantage, HR must strategically allocate resources and deliver programs that will make the most impact to the bottom line. A variety of competency approaches will be discussed with specifics on how to: 1) link competencies to the business objectives, 2) create specific and not overly general competencies, 3) develop competencies around job families or levels, 3) implement competency models to evaluate applicants, focus development activities and measure performance outcomes.

The deadline for making reservations is noon on the Monday preceding the event. Any reservation made after noon will cost $25 for members and $35 for guests. No reservations will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday preceding the luncheon / breakfast. Cancellations are due by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, as well. Late cancellations will result in being invoiced the non-cancellation fee of $30.
